Wow good times in Colorado
We had a great trip to Co. four wheeling & trail biking. We were around Gunninson Co. Out where the cows hang out, & no phones service for miles.
A lot of riders go there every yr. to ride, dirt bikes and four wheelers.
There were four couples in our group. We had 2 dirt bikes (that were ridden by two girls ) plus 5 four wheelers.
We rode through steams, rocks, climbed mountains and whatever was in front of us.
Our camp was at about 10,000 ft. In the mornings it would be around 29 degrees, then the sun would come out and warm up nice.
We would start riding about 9.am & ride all day. (about 50 miles per day) I have to give a lot of credit to the 2 girls riding the bikes. As you know I have rode motor cycles since I was 14 yr's old.
The girls had to ride through water & rocks, while climbing long trails.
The highest we climbed was around 13,000 ft. You can see forever!!
There is a lot of old mines & deserted mining towns.
Then at night we would build a big fire & enjoy the night.
If you really want to get away from it all, you should go there, sometime. Oh & don't forget to stop at Tin Cup for pie!!

Prescott BBQ
I went to a very, very nice BBQ out side of Prescott A few Wk's ago. Man it was a nice Place. About 80 people came. We played for 4 Hr's had a great time. They want us to come back next yr. I hope we can. Later, Speedy Marshall

Colorado Trip
I just got back from CO. Thats such a great state. I had a 2 night gig. So I drove my vett. When Lyle Lovett was just strarting out in the 80s. I met him one night in Scotts. He told he always wanted a vett. Iam sure he has whatever he wants now. I have a site on MY Space but its not getting a lot of action. Got to go Later Speedy Marshall
Prescott gig
I have been playing the last few Sat. nights in Prescott. Prescott is a great area. I also just got back from the midwest again. My new gospel CD is doing well plus Stone Cold Country in Australia sent me an Email , that they are playing my music. I think that is great! He said he was sure that listeners Down under would like the music to. I love the way they talk. There was a movie on TV about a moter cycle racer, Years ago that was from Australia , and he still holds the world land speed on a bike. Later, Loran Speedy Marshall.

Snowstorm in Iowa
Greetings,
The first of March I went back to Iowa for a visit to a town located about fifty miles northwest of Des
Moines. The timing was terrible, as a snowstorm that turned into a blizzard hit the area. The snowfall was only six inches to a foot, but the winds piled the snow higher in some locations making travel impossible.
Visibility was zero, it was a complete whiteout.
Interstate 80 from Des M
oines to Omaha was closed for two days, that is a distance of 120 miles. Trucks in both cities were backed up for miles. In the town where I was the roads were impassable, those who were trying to get home or ventured outside ended up in the ditches. Many people were trapped in their homes, farms for three days
without power. This is the first horrible snowstorm that hit the vicinity of Des
Moines and the news media missed it!! It was an experience I never forget.

Hello Everyone,
Two weeks ago I played at a private party with another guitar player and singer. We never played together before but it worked out very well since the other players and I were familiar with the same songs.
We played for three hours, the audience enjoyed our performance and we loved playing together!
